River Stour, Sandwich is an original Oil painting on a wood panel, framed in a hand painted real wood frame. 
This is one of a series of oil paintings that I have been working on over the autumn of this year and depicts the view of the River Stour from the bank of the river in the heart of Sandwich.  The detailed bridge and architecture of the town are combined with the reflective nature of the river. A truly lovely example of a Kentish landscape.
Measuring 10”x 8” this piece is unvarnished which allows the natural oils to breathe. The frames are finished with a layer of wax, buffed to a light sheen.
